COWARDS — dissects the codes of contemporary masculinity and the ritual of male validation that demands publicly proving one’s virility. The stage work reveals a system of behavior governed by a toxic and coercive logic. Cowardice becomes a stigma, revealing the inability to show cracks or doubts without jeopardizing one’s own identity. Thus, only anger and violence are accepted, celebrated, and recognized as legitimizing masculinity.
